Our SEND Support

We are proud to offer specialist careers guidance for young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Our approach is personalised, respectful, and built around each individual’s strengths, aspirations, and support needs.

We believe every young person deserves high-quality, meaningful guidance that helps them move confidently toward their future.

How We Support SEND Learners

Our team includes Level 6-qualified practitioners with experience working across a wide range of needs, including autism, ADHD, learning differences, social-emotional needs, and physical or sensory impairments. We tailor our approach to ensure every young person feels understood, valued, and supported.

Our SEND-focused Guidance Includes:

  • 1:1 careers guidance sessions delivered at a pace that suits the young person
  • Strength-based conversations that build confidence and self-awareness
  • Accessible action plans written with clarity, sensitivity, and attention to detail
  • Collaboration with families, SENCOs, and support staff where appropriate
  • Support with transitions, including post-16 and post-18 pathways
  • Exploration of realistic and aspirational next steps, including supported internships, apprenticeships, college courses, and employment options, or simply preparing for adulthood
  • We create a calm, safe, and encouraging environment where young people can explore their future with confidence

Our Approach

We take time to build rapport, understand communication preferences, and adapt our sessions to meet individual needs. This may include:

  • Visual aids
  • Breaks and flexible pacing
  • Alternative communication methods
  • Quiet spaces
  • Pre-session preparation or familiarisation

Our goal is to ensure every young person feels comfortable and empowered throughout the process.

Working in Partnership

We work closely with schools, colleges, parents/carers, and external professionals to ensure guidance is consistent, joined-up, and meaningful. This includes:

  • Sharing action plans with relevant staff
  • Attending review meetings where appropriate
  • Supporting Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) outcomes
  • Providing clear, practical next-step recommendations

We follow robust processes in line with Safer Recruitment guidelines to ensure the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
